  6.  You  may use this to make uploading several different files from
  7.  your system (local files) to several GEnie forums, all using the
  8.  same in the forums.
  9.  
  10.  For instance, you may have a file on your system named local.arc
  11.  and wish to upload it without renaming it.  Enter  the  name  of
  12.  the  file in the Local File name and extension fields and choose
  13.  an appropriate name for GEnie for the upload file.

  69.  with a pop of choice list  of common filename extensions. You may

  74.  file  name  extension.    If  your  entry  contains  any  illegal
  75.  characters, Ease-Up will tell you  which character must be edited
  76.  and return you to the field.   Ease-Up will not accept an illegal
  77.  file  name extension,  so you  should make  the corrections  when
  78.  prompted.

  92.  with a choice list of many of the forum names on GEnie.Choosing a

  94.  Forum Name field.  The list  is not all-inclusive and some listed
  95.  services may not in fact have libraries. Be sure you are familiar
  96.  with the forum  you select. If the forum you  are uploading to is
  97.  not in the  list, simply press the ESC key  to close the list and
  98.  enter the forum name in the field.

  113.  With  all forums, it is necessary to choose a particular library
  114.  in which your file will be uploaded.  Ease-Up includes a list of
  115.  libraries for several of the popular forums on GEnie.    If  the
  116.  forum  you  chose  in  the Forum Name field has its library list
  117.  included with Ease-Up, you will be presented with this list when
  118.  you enter the LIB field.  The libraries  are  listed  by  number
  119.  with a short description of each, as provided by GEnie.
  120.  
  121.  If you have chosen a forum which Ease-Up does not have a library
  122.  list  for,  Ease-Up will beep once when you enter this field and
  123.  display the message "No choices available".  You may then  enter
  124.  the library  number  into  the  field.  Be sure to enter a valid
  125.  library number for the forum.  An invalid  library  number  will
  126.  cause the script to fail online.

  168.  the same  name that you  enter. If the  file exists, you  will be
  169.  advised of  this by a  message window. You  may continue and  the
  170.  existing  script file  will be  overwritten, or  you may edit the
  171.  Script Name to create a new file.

  178.  This field is only available if you  are  generating  an  upload
  179.  script for  use  with  PROCOMM  PLUS or XTALK4.  You may enter a

  181.  above).  An upload path entered on the command line is  editable
  182.  here.

  184.  The  path should  be the  complete DOS  path to  the file you are
  185.  uploading, less the file name itself.

  202.    The Upload Path field is not  used when generating a script for
  203.    Qmodem.   Qmodem  provides an  excellent configuration facility
  204.    for  setting upload  and download  paths, among  others. It  is
  205.    assumed  that you  are using  this facility  of Qmodem. Ease Up
  206.    makes  use of  a Qmodem  variable, $UPLOAD,  in the  scripts it
  207.    generates.   This variable contains  the upload path  as set in
  208.    Qmodem's  configuration.   In  order  for an  Ease-Up generated
  209.    script to function properly without editing, you should set the
  210.    Qmodem  upload  path  as  indicated  by  the  program's manual.

  264.  Here  you may  enter the  long description  of the  file you  are
  265.  uploading. You should follow  GEnie and forum  guidelines for the
  266.  information entered here and in the keywords field.

  268.  You are provided with ten lines to enter your  long  description
  269.  on  (ten  lines  is  GEnie's  limit  of  the  length of the long
  270.  description).  The lines are numbered  from  1  to  9  with  "L"
  271.  marking the last line.
  272.  
  273.  You may use an external ASCII text file for the long description.
  274.  Ease-Up will load  the text file using the  [-d long descr. file]
  275.  command line option. A maximum of 10 lines of text is allowed and
  276.  no line should  exceed 76 characters in length.   Exceeding these
  277.  limits  won't hurt  anything, but  your description  will not  be
  278.  formatted as it probably was in your file.

  308.  In addition, there is word wrapping  works fine, so long as there
  309.  are  not enough  characters ahead  to fill  the field.   You  may
  310.  insert  a blank  line as  you normally  would, but  that carriage
  311.  return in the  first position on that line  will cause the editor
  312.  to act as if the line was full.   Keep this in mind, as you can't
  313.  see the carriage return character and you may believe you have an
  314.  empty line.

  316.  There is an idiosyncracy in the editor. The TAB key will move you
  317.  from the long description to the  first field (File Name) and the
  318.  Shift-TAB combination will move to the previous field.
